Our client who is one of the leading suppliers of automated conveying and material handling systems are looking for a Controls Engineer Manager to join their team based in Nottingham. 
 
Your responsibilities as the new Controls Engineer Manager: 
Achieve electrical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans. 
Ensure completion of electrical projects by supervising installation and resolving design issues. 
Manage staff performance to ensure the running of an effective and efficient Controls Department. 
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with codes and legal regulations. 
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the role may be required to perform other duties assigned to them from time to time, however such duties will be reasonable in relation to the employee’s skills, abilities, status etc. 
Your requirements as the new Control Engineer Manager: 
Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy. 
Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects 
 
About the role: 
Full time, Permanent 40 hours per week 
Monday - Friday 
£55,000 - £60,000 Depending on Experience
