New Opportunities – Electronics Technician 
 
Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Electronics Technician to join their team. In this role you will be joining the Research and Development team. You will be responsible for the continuous failure mode development of legacy products. 
 
As the new Electronics Technician, you will: 
Follow wiring diagrams and pin data to power up ECUs on the bench and test specific circuits and functions. 
Analyse ECUs (electronic control units) and their PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) to discover the cause of electronic faults and to enact repairs where possible. 
Create technical documentation 
Close looping of information into SOP and training of technicians 
 
Requirements for this role: 
Essential skills & experience: 
Experience in electronic fault finding to component level and PCB rework methods. 
Experience in electronic schematic/wiring diagram drawings. 
Root cause analysis of PCB’s 
Desirable skills & experience: 
Well organised with a methodical approach to problem solving. 
Team player with excellent attention to detail. 
Knowledge and experience of automotive operations, electronics, and communication protocols.
