Recruit 2 You are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems, based on technical schematics. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems, with a focus on large industrial EV installations. 
Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. 
Perform general electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. 
Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. 
Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions using testing devices and hand tools. 
Replace or repair electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures. 
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations. 
Perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and related systems. 
Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE. 
 
Skills and Attributes: 
Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
Physical strength to move and install heavy electrical equipment and work long hours on-site. 
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 
Proficiency in identifying wires by their distinct colours. 
Leadership and decision-making skills. 
Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination. 
Basic first aid and rescue skills. 
Ability to work independently or collaboratively. 
Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions. 
Can work well under pressure. 
 
Qualifications and Requirements: 
ECS Gold Card (minimum Installation Electrician level). 
Current 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certification. 
2391 Electrical Testing and Inspection qualification. 
Minimum of 18 months of experience as an electrician, preferably in industrial/commercial environments. 
Valid full UK driver’s license (nationwide travel required). 
IPAF 3a and 3b certifications (preferred but not required). 
 
About the role: 
Full time, permanent 
£17.50 - £18.50 Per Hour (DOE) 
A company van will be provided with a fuel card.
