Responsibilities and Duties: 
You will be responsible for fabricating and welding mild steel, ranging from 2mm up to 30mm in thickness, using the MIG welding process. 
Accurately follow engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the highest quality of work. 
Build subcomponents using jigs and then fit them to pre-assembled machine skeletons, contributing to the production of recycling equipment. 
Engage in basic mechanical work when required, with full training provided. 
MIG welding, fabrication and development on bespoke steel fabrications in a heavy engineering environment.  
Using varying workshop tools, plant and machinery.  
Working from engineering drawings & specifications.  
Welding to a high quality.  
Measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling. 
 
Benefits: 
Starting pay of £15-£16 per hour. 
Monday to Thursday 7am -4pm, then Friday 7am-12pm
