Due to continued success, we are now supported their search for the next Business Development Manager to join their team! 
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding the business and driving growth within the waste management and energy sector. Based out of the Nottingham office, you will primarily operate in the field, leveraging your business development expertise to identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand their customer base. This position offers an attractive compensation package with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £50,000 per year, including a Tesla Model 3 company car. 
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities within the waste management and energy sector through market research, industry analysis, and networking. 
• Develop and implement effective business development strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to maximize business opportunities. 
• Actively seek out and engage with potential clients, presenting our waste management and energy solutions to showcase their value and benefits. 
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients. 
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. 
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships. 
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our company, generate leads, and develop professional networks. 
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance to the management team. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
• Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the waste management and energy industry or a related field. 
• Strong knowledge and understanding of waste management practices, renewable energy solutions, and relevant regulations. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. 
• Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. 
• Self-motivated and driven, with excellent organisational and time management skills. 
• Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools to track and manage leads and opportunities. 
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
