On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader. 
 
As the new Home Team Leader, you will: 
 
Help with the planning and admission of new residents. 
Become familiar with the Placement Plan and Care Plan for residents. 
Keep updated on changes to resident care plans and update as needed on home’s files. 
Help to create a safe environment for residents. 
Undertake a variety of Health and Safety Assessments. 
Assist with personal education plans. 
Help to maintain the home through general housekeeping tasks. 
Undertake formal supervision reviews in accordance with policy. 
Act as a key worker for nominated residents. 
 
 
Requirements for the role: 
 
Must have had at least 1 years’ experience of working with Children/Young people in a similar setting, with other care professionals and partnering agencies. 
Must be educated to GCSE level (Grade C or above) 
Ideally, would have an NVQ Level 3 – “Caring for Children and Young People”. Or would be committed to undertaking it. 
An appropriate Health and Social Care NVQ can be considered if it was completed prior to 2014 and includes Children as well as adult modules. 
Would have good written / verbal communication skills. 
Would be trained or certified in the following areas: First Aid, Food Hygiene, Fire Safety, Child Protection, IT, HIV and Aids, Care and Control. 
Would be at least 21 years of age and 4 years older than the homes oldest child in the home. 
Enhanced DBS

Can retain confidential information 
Able to develop close but professional relationships. 
 
About the role: 
 
Salary for the role is £14 an hour (around £26,000 annually) 
The role is for 155 hours a month. 
You will be working on a 1 on 2 off rota 
Hours for this will be 7:30am – 11pm 
The role includes a number of sleep ins over the month (typically 6)
