Our client has one mission – To provide specialist training in Electrical, Renewable Energy, Solar PV, Plumbing & Heating and Air-Conditioning and F-Gas amongst others! 
Based in Chesterfield, they are seeking an additional permanent full-time electrical instructor to deliver courses to Electricians and allied trades including; 
• 2391 Inspection & Testing, 
• 18th Edition. 
 
Preferably someone who has experience of delivering these or similar courses already. 
 
You would be running short courses for relatively small groups of no more than 12 candidates and the vast majority of our trainees are mature experienced trades. 
 
Your passion and clarity in explaining new ideas to electricians, combined with your good technical electrical knowledge and qualifications are the most important factors in this role. 
 
Your input into the development of course materials, new training techniques and personal development etc. are all actively encouraged. 
 
Qualifications & Experience: 
• The ideal candidate will have electrical qualifications such as NVQ level 3 (or 2360/2358/AM1 & 2 etc.) plus inspection and testing and 18th Edition. 
• They will also be an experienced teacher/trainer and hold A1 or equivalent. 
• A good understanding of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). 
 
As a training provider, firmly believing in the development of our staff and would welcome applications from candidates who have some teaching experience in this field and are willing to work towards relevant training qualifications. 
 
Although please note: If you aren't an electrician with at least some teaching experience then this job isn't for you. Also, you must be eligible to work in the UK, unfortunately we cannot sponsor visa applications. 
 
This is a full-time permanent position however we would also welcome applications from anyone looking for part-time/contract teaching.
