Permanent vacancy for an experienced Flexographic Printer or Experienced Machine Operative looking to develop with training! 
 
Our client, based in Ashbourne (DE6) is for someone to join their team, ideally, they are looking for experienced Flexographic Printers to work on a rotating 3 shift pattern, however experienced Machine Operatives should also apply!

As the new Flexographic Printer, you will be responsible for: 
• Monitoring and controlling print quality 
• Ensuring all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g., PPE, health and safety, hygiene, quality) 
• Completing all related paperwork and input data accurately to ensure print quality checks can be carried out, as per training given 
• Ensuring press speeds are always optimised by having materials loaded on and inks topped up 
• Working with and contributing to Continuous improvement activity across site 
• Ensuring any defect print is highlighted to the team leader and QA department and that the affected are highlighted clearly 
• Ensuring effective shift handover is carried out 
• Maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity whilst working to tight deadlines and customer demands 
 
You’ll need a keen eye for detail and an ability to focus on the job, as our client makes security labels and tapes for some of the world’s biggest brands. You will receive full training on the machines on-site. What’s more important is that you are a positive, proactive, team member with a winning attitude. 
 
Your working hours will rotate on a 3-shift pattern 
06:00 hrs – 14:00 / 14:00 hrs – 22:00 hrs / 22:00 hrs – 06:00 hrs 
Salary starting at £20,500 
 
The job role requires hard physical work, a flexible approach, and an enthusiasm to get involved and grow within the team. 
Over time available weekdays and weekends at time and a half pay.
