Recruit 2 You are currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer for one of our clients based in Derby. Our client has a unique approach to providing customers with a professional, confidential, and complete IT support service, they specialise in supporting their local business with their IT and computing requirements. They are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join a strong and customer-focused business, the ideal candidate must have enthusiasm for IT. 
Roles and Responsibilities as an IT Support Engineer: 
You will provide customers with remote technical support 
Visit customer sites to complete IT Service Requests 
Proactively monitor, error log, fault tracking, and problem management to ensure optimum service availability 
Prioritise and manage your own workload to ensure the most effective customer service is provided 
To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT Service desk system 
To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware. 
You as the new IT Systems Engineer will demonstrate the following: 
1st line or some 2nd line IT Support Experience 
Networking experience with an understanding of basic networking and diagnostic tools 
Experience of Office 365 
1-2 Years’ experience in an IT Role 
Great Communication/customer service skills both verbally and written 
Excellent attention to detail 
Networking experience with an understanding of WAN/LAN/WLAN, routing, NAT, network diagnostics 
Windows Server (2019/2016/2012 R2/2012/2008 R2) experience with an understanding of DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, RRAS 
Exchange Server (2016/2013/2010) 
Must have the ability to work well under pressure 
Duration: Permanent position 
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm 
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 (DOE)
