Recruit 2 You are working in partnership with a world leading manufacturer based in Long Eaton.
We have an ongoing opportunity for additional candidates to join their busy warehouse on a temporary ongoing basis as a Machine Operative, this could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate!
The working hours for the Machine Operative role will be 7am-5:30pm (Monday to Thursday) 8am-4:30pm Fridays.
The pay rate for the Machine Operative role is £11.44 per hour for standard hours. Overtime may be available during busy periods.
About the Machine Operative job:
Your job role will include operating a machine to create finished products, ticketing and moving beams of fabric (heavy lifting)
Responsibilities of the Machine Operative:
Adding beams of material to the machine
Requirements:
Able to tie small knots in fabric material.
Working in a fast-paced environment.
Able to stop/start machine.
Able to identify faults in the material e.g., when it gets tangled on the machine.
Filling in paperwork accurately.
Happy with repetitive work.
