Our client based off Ascot drive in Derby is looking to appoint a skilled Machine Operator. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail with the ability to identify errors and remain calm in what can be a pressurising environment. The candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with a positive, driven and results focused attitude. 
 
Your main Duties for the role of Machine Operator include: 
· Ensuring that all production requirements are maintained in line with daily plans. 
· Monitoring and maximising machine outputs and reports. 
· Ensuring all quality inspection checks are made throughout manufacture and in accordance with procedures. 
· Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed and filed in the relevant place. 
· Always adhering to the Company’s hygiene and quality standards. 
· Ensuring that correct cleaning procedures are followed and recorded. 
· Complying with all legal requirements in respect of Health & Safety of self and others. 
· Demonstrating good employee relations within the team and to other departments. 
· Working as part of a team providing necessary support if required. 
 
You as the new Machine Operator will demonstrate the following experience and attributes: 
· Experience working in a team in a target driven environment 
· Previous Machine operating experience (essential) 
· Cleanroom experience (desirable) 
· Reliable 
· Flexible and hardworking 
· This role offers the following shifts options which can be worked on a rotational basis or a choice of nights only / days and afternoons rotating. * 
· Monday – Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm 
· Monday – Friday 2.00pm – 10.30pm 
· Sunday – Thursday 10.00pm – 6.30am 
· *For the training period hours would rotate between mornings and afternoons for a minimum of 4 weeks.
