Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Kirkby in Ashfield, is seeking a Materials Management Co-ordinator to join their team. This is initially a temporary position but will become permanent for the right person!
The Materials Management Co- Ordinator initially reports to the site Supervisor for day-to-day tasks and is managed by the Production Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Printing pick lists sent over by the site planner
Assigning pick lists to jobs packs
Printing off labels for daily jobs
Booking in daily jobs on Syspro
Booking in deliveries via P.O. numbers into Syspro
Booking in transfer paperwork
Updating Syspro with any stock movements into new locations
Transferring finished products via Syspro to the sister sites or storage facility
Printing off dispatch paperwork and labels to attach to all dispatch pallets
Communicating with storage facility, e.g. Booking lorries and how many space are needed
Populating customer return documents and send to appropriate team members
Answering all incoming telephone calls
Controlling secured gates for deliveries and visits
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years administration experience
Great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Confident telephone manner
Computer experience (Microsoft)
Ability to multitask and work on your own initiative
Must be able to work fully office based
Ability to perform well under pressure
