We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client in the Mansfield area; working on a rotating shift pattern 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday with one in 4 Saturdays required. Flexibility will be required, as shift cover will be needed on occasion.
My clients are leaders in global supply of sealants and adhesives and operating across 3 sites (approx. 3 miles apart) you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance across all sites as team of 4 skilled engineers. This role would be an ideal opportunity for a candidate that can self- manage to work independently, whilst being able to communicate effectively, both internally and externally.
You as the new Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
Knowledge of Pneumatics
Fault Finding experience
Be a team player whilst having the ability to self-manage
Driving licence essential as travel between sites will be required.
Ability to work with and understand non-automated production machinery
Be methodical in their approach to maintenance
Knowledge of motors and invertors
Working knowledge of CMMS
ATEX knowledge (Desirable)
You as the new Maintenance Engineer will be:
A system thinker
Have an improvement mindset.
Good communication and listening skills will assist in fault finding and troubleshooting issues when speaking to the team and so experience of working within a similar environment will be advantageous.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, you will be expected to work as part of the wider team to ensure least disruption to the production facility. In addition, you will be expected to undertake additional duties as required such as repairs and general maintenance to the sites.
