We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Paint Sprayer to join our clients team. This is a temporary to permanent position with a competitive pay rate of £13.48 per hour. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in spray painting within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean surfaces for painting by removing dirt, rust, and old paint.
Select and mix the appropriate paints and coatings for each job.
Apply paint using a variety of methods, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
Ensure that paint is applied evenly and without defects.
Monitor and maintain the equipment used for painting.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Make adjustments to achieve the desired finish and color.
Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Optional overtime available on Fridays.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of relevant safety procedures.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
