Our client is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their small and friendly well-established Quality team. 
The role involves undertaking consistent and repeatable testing of raw materials and manufactured products to ensure that the products they manufacture onsite for their customers uphold their reputation for high quality. 
 
 
You as the new Quality Control Technician will: 
 
Be education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and a science 
Have some experience working in a manufacturing environment 
Have had some experience of working in a QC/laboratory/technical environment. although this is not essential 
Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Quality Control practices 
Be dependable, organised, and have a methodical approach to work 
Have basic computer literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook 
Have a logical, calm, and confident approach to working tasks 
Have a flexible approach to work times in order to cover variable production schedules including overtime. 
 
Working hours for this role are a rotating shift pattern as follows: 
 
Week one: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 13:30 hrs 
Week two Monday to Thursday 15:00 – 00:00 hrs (Flexible) 
Occasional overtime on Fridays/ weekend mornings
