Our client is seeking a Sales Support Representative to join their team based in Northampton. 
 
As the new Sales Support Representative, you will be supporting their new recently appointed Head of Commercial. 
 
Your responsibilities as the new Sales Support Representative will include: 
 
Contact and qualify potential customers from data provided (most crucial element of the role – this will take most time and have most focus) 
Set appointments to meet targeted KPI’s from qualified leads. 
Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to develop strategies for reaching new customers via cold outreach. 
Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage lead progress leading to appointments. 
Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments (approx. 1 hour per day) 
Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads as directed by Head of Commercial. Likely to be several times per year, with UK travel. 
Provide regular reports on Lead-Gen activities and results to management. 
HIGHLY DESIRABLE: if you have sufficient skills & experience to assume regular day to day lead-gen marketing i.e. social media and blog posts etc, that would be a real bonus. 
 
Your skills and experience as the new Sales Support Representative: 
 
2-3 years of experience in a sales environment 
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software 
Strong verbal and written communication skills 
Good understanding of social media marketing 
Ability to easily build rapport with potential clients. 
Knowledge of sales (& marketing) techniques and strategies 
Good time management and organisational skills 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
Flexibility and adaptability to change. 
 
About the role: 
 
Part time (Mon- Fri) 
£25,000- £30,000 Depending on Experience
