Our client is looking for a Senior Team Leader. They are a leading manufacturer, who are based in the Wirksworth area.
As the Senior Team Leader, you will be supporting the existing manager with the daily running and goods-in management of the warehouse.
As the new Senior Team Leader, you will:
Support the current manager by checking and updating information on incoming goods from storage and production.
Lead and manage operatives to meet daily targets through support and regular communication.
Work with other departments to achieve production targets.
Mange stock levels by performing regular stock checks and using the in-house system.
Lead a small team (up to 3 Operatives) in operation efficiency and 5S standards.
Promote good working practices in line with H&S standards.
Lead team to achieve scrap reduction targets.
Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.
FLT license desirable – training for the right candidate can be provided.
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience supervising in a warehouse environment.
Knowledge of 5S standards.
FLT license is desirable.
About the role:
Hours for this role are 8am – 4:30pm
The days for this role are Monday – Friday
The salary for this role is £13.22 per/hour (£27,497.60)
This role will be based at 40 hours a week.
