Are you an experienced Injection Mould Setter with a strong background in injection moulding and machine setup? Do you have experience with tool changes, fault finding and maintaining efficient production runs?
Our client is looking for an Injection Mould Setter to join their team at their established manufacturing site in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading UK manufacturer with a large-scale, 24/7 production facility, offering ongoing training, development and opportunities for progression.
As the new Injection Mould Setter, you will:
Set up and condition injection moulding machines from scratch
Carry out mould tool changes and machine setups
Complete repair and maintenance work on machinery ranging from 60t-1500t
Set 3-axis Sepro and Viper robots
Carry out quality checks and fault finding
Monitor cycle times and product weights to ensure production targets are met
Apply technical knowledge to ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently
Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities
Maintain a clean and tidy working area
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Ensure correct PPE is worn and arrive ready for the start of each shift
Main Requirements for This Role:
IMT Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Injection Mould Setter role
Strong injection moulding machine setup experience
Experience with Sepro 3-axis robots or similar robot setup
Experience with Billon, Engel, Arburg or Sandretto machines is desirable
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of health and safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Physically capable of working on your feet and handling materials/tools
About this role:
£17.05 - £19.55 per hour
Full-time permanent position
Based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire
Various shifs patterns available
Reporting to the Technical Shift Leader
22 days holiday, increasing to 24 days with service
Paid breaks
Regular overtime available at a higher overtime rate
