Hello! We are the Recruit 2 You Team...
Anita Jackson MREC Managing Director
My recruitment career began with a national training provider within the Apprenticeship sector, I quickly progressed to become National Account Manager for market leaders in the estate agency sector. In 2016 I joined a small recruitment company in Derby and was instrumental in opening a successful sister branch for the organisation, following its success I was approached to open a further branch to continue the company growth. In 2018 decided the time was right to start my own venture and have taken my sector knowledge and experience to start up Recruit 2 You, based in Heanor, working with clients across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
I have always been entrepreneurial and had ambitions to work for myself, so this was always my dream.
Day to day I am very “hands on” I work closely with the team to source candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies across all sectors. We always start the day with a group meeting and a coffee! This helps to set the tone for the day and ensure that we are all focused on what needs to be achieved.
We are not like a typical recruitment office, we do not have individual ownership of clients, we all work together to ensure every client we are working with is met with the highest standards of service possible.
I love my job and I love coming to work, as a typical Libra I am people pleaser and so I always go above and beyond what is expected to get a result and there is no better feeling than the feeling you get from making a difference to someone life, when they get taken on permanently through a temporary assignment or getting to give the news of a job offer after a series of interviews, it really is the best feeling!
Outside of the office I will always be spending time with my husband and children, we have recently moved to a new house and have a long-term project to work on, renovating a bungalow.
Long term plans are to grow the business, my team are equally ambitious, and I want to encourage their dreams of progression to more senior and management positions.
Jenna-Leigh Bates AREC Temporary Industrial Manager
I have been with the business since it began in 2018 and along with being a Recruitment Consultant, I am also a shareholder and the Company Secretary.
My role is to manage the Temporary Industrial side of the business and I currently have two direct reports. I work with the Directors at senior level and to manage the office when the other Directors are away from the business. I take my job very seriously and enjoy working closely with clients and candidates to ensure the correct match is found, for both temporary assignments and permanent roles.
I am fortunate to have such a great team who support me in my role, we all have our own strengths, and we depend on each other use these when and where needed.
Day to day I will be speaking to candidates, liaising with clients, arranging, and attending site inductions and interviews. I like to have regular contact with my clients and our workers, and this sometimes means just popping in for a cuppa and a chat.
I also enjoy working with the junior team members to train and mentor them to be the best they can be in hope that they are able to progress with us as a business. I am perfectionist and like to ensure there is a process in place for each task we perform, and so standard documents and SOPs are usually given to me to update etc. I also oversee our weekly payroll and produce regular management information reports for our clients so we can monitor our performance.
Background and experience...
Recruit 2 You is owned and run by my Aunty and Uncle and we have worked closely to build the business together from early 2018. I started my career working for small recruitment firm locally as an Administration Apprentice and this gave me a good insight to the industry and so I was very keen to build something from scratch with my Aunty when she approached me about this venture.
I have gone onto complete my Level 3 Business Administration NVQ and graduated in November 2019. From this, I was shortlisted to the final three apprentices to win the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for the Derbyshire Times Business Awards – and subsequently went on to WIN!! This was a huge boost to my career and my confidence.
Prior to starting work in recruitment, I was studying at Sixth Form, I did not feel like University was for me and so when I got an offer of employment following a successful work experience week at my past employment and grabbed the opportunity. I am excited about my future within Recruit 2 you and to see how the business grows, I am very proud of how far we have come to date.
Outside of the office...
On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family – going for a Nando’s makes the weekend even better! I also love to visit new places in and around Derbyshire, going shopping is a bad habit of mine, especially when it is for a special occasion …!

Courtney Bower Recruitment Consultant (Temporary Industrial Staffing)
I currently manage several clients within a radius of our offices to support them with additional staffing to support their busy periods and their business growth. Every day in our office is different and our priorities are constantly changing to meet the demands of our clients and customers. My daily tasks range from advertising and promoting the roles we have available, screening, interviewing and reference checking candidates and giving them information to enable them to go to work. I am also regularly expanding my network to engage with new clients and keeping in touch with our existing clients, I also send and check timesheets to assist with our weekly payroll, it is a busy job but I really enjoy it!
I joined Recruit 2 You with no experience in recruitment, after studying A-levels I found that university was not for me, I started searching for something that would give me stability and after speaking to a close relative who works within recruitment, I wanted to consider it as a career option. I consider myself as being ‘hands on’ when working and I am committed to doing my job to the best of my ability to allow me to further progress within my recruitment career.
Outside the office…
Outside of work I like to spend my time with my family and friends, I also like to explore the Derbyshire area, usually going on walks or bike rides. I enjoy taking photos of places that I visit as photography is one of my hobbies.
Brooke Dennis Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Staffing)
I initially joined Recruit 2 You as a Resourcing Administrator, however having really enjoyed looking at the permanent vacancies and talking to candidates and clients about these roles, I have been offered an opportunity to pursue a career as a Recruitment Consultant (Trainee) working on permanent vacancies which I am excited about.
As well as looking to engage with existing and potential clients to maximise business development for permanent roles across our network, I will be speaking with candidates and clients daily, arranging interviews, delivering feedback, and attending client visits.
I like to have a personable approach, so I always aim to meet all candidates prior to interview, either face to face or through video call; this is to ensure that I can be confident the candidates meet the requirements of the role and that the candidates will feel confident they have all the correct information before attending to their interview.
As part of my ongoing training, I am working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification to gain further knowledge and understanding of the business.
Before starting my Apprentice with Recruit 2 You, I was studying travel and tourism at Nottingham college. Within this college course, I learned a lot about the different businesses within the industry, and this made me realise that business was the avenue that I wanted to progress within. I also have retail experience, which made me realise that this was not the career for me. I then decided to become a hairdresser's assistant in Nottingham city centre, however I believe that I was able to push myself further within my career and I am now very excited to start my future with Recruit 2 You.
Outside of the office…
I enjoy my weekends by going shopping, going out for a meal and the cinema with my friends and family. I enjoy being able to spend quality time with my family and creating lifelong memories. I try and spend my time being a positive person and enjoying life to the maximum.

I will ensure all documents are printed/ filed and scanned efficiently and to comply with data protection ensure that this is performed in the strictest of confidence and in a timely manner. As the newest member of the team and in my first role within an office environment I spend lots of time shadowing the team and taking notes on ways to complete the tasks before completing the task with someone shadowing me to ensure the task is performed correctly.
Background and experience...
Before starting my Apprenticeship at Recruit 2 You, I was a student at Hall Park Academy. During my time there I studied Business as a GCSE. The Business GCSE inspired me to want to be a part of a Business dynamic. This then led me to search for an Apprenticeship in Business Administration, as I felt most of my skills are best suited for the role. From leaving school in March, due to COVID-19, I have completed courses to expand my knowledge & understanding of various subjects. I completed a Managing Mental Health Course, which focused more on workplace stress & the impact of the environment. I then completed The Microsoft Office Diploma Course, which covered all areas of Microsoft.
My work experience placement was at Sure Start Children’s Centre. My work experience was over a 5-day period and within this time I maintained a mutual and respectful relationship with the staff members. During this time, I developed my own skills, this was by; confidently organising activities, improving my communication skills, using my initiative more and helping others feel more self-aware and comfortable. My relationship building skills would contribute well with building and maintaining good working relationships with the staff members and members of the Children’s Centre. Throughout my placement, I felt as if I embraced the freedom and responsibilities of a working life, I enjoyed interacting with other members of staff and participating in organising numerous activities.
Outside of the office...
I am a member of my local cricket team, Eastwood Town Cricket Club. I have been scoring for 5 years, however as a child I grew up down there. I have grown a passion for Cricket, which encouraged me to play for our Women’s Softball Cricket team that started in July 2019. I spend most of my weekends down there socialising with my cricket family & making endless memories. I love to spend time with my Family, Godparents & friends.
I joined the business in July 2021 as a Recruitment Resourcing Specialist. My overall duty as a Resourcer is to provide administrative support to the business, whilst working closely with the Recruitment Consultant(s) with certain tasks. This includes candidate gathering, database maintenance and ensuring all temporary workers are paid correctly.
I joined Recruit 2 You with no recruitment experience. I am looking to progress within my career, in the Recruitment industry. I have experience within the hospitality industry, but left due to looking for more stability and a job role with progression and job satisfaction. Before starting my apprenticeship I attended Bilborough College and studied Social Sciences.

I enjoy spending time with the people important to me. I spend a lot of my time just outside of Derbyshire, travelling to new places.
Sales and Marketing Consultant
The role of a Marketing & Sales Consultant is to promote Recruit 2 You services to potential clients and candidates via various social media platforms. Regarding the Marketing aspect of my job role, I will be responding to social media enquiries and keeping website information up to date. I will create and refresh weekly adverts for various job roles that are available. It is also my role to update the blogs and vacancies lists. With these marketing duties also comes the sales aspects; this may include attending client meetings, answering telephones and emailing potential candidates and maintain a positive working relationship particularly with Recruitment Consultants.
Background & Experience…
Whilst I have no prior experience in Sales & Marketing, I studied Media Studies, Sociology and English Language at A-Level at Nottingham College, all of which individually contributed some level of understanding to me in the world of multimedia digital marketing, whether that be from a creative stance or more of an administrative one.
Extending my knowledge further, I then studied Multimedia Sports Journalism at Buckinghamshire New University (based in Manchester), for 3 years. A huge part of this degree consisted of creatively trying to market to an audience using digital media, so in that regard, I am knowledgeable and experienced.
As well as my educational qualifications, I also have years of experience in different job roles that practiced customer service, sales and hospitality.
Outside of the office…
Outside of the office, I love watching football, being a huge Manchester City fan. I also enjoy going out for food or drinks, and even shopping. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’m most likely playing FIFA or Football Manager!
