Anita Jackson MIRP Managing Director  

My recruitment career began with a national training provider within the Apprenticeship sector, I quickly progressed to become National Account Manager for market leaders in the estate agency sector. In 2016 I joined a small recruitment company in Derby and was instrumental in opening a successful sister branch for the organisation, following its success I was approached to open a further branch to continue the company growth. In 2018 decided the time was right to start my own venture and have taken my sector knowledge and experience to start up Recruit 2 You, based in Heanor, working with clients accross Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. 
 
I have always been entrepreneurial and had ambitions to work for myself, so this was always my dream. 
 
Day to day I am very “hands on” I work closely with the team to source candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies across all sectors. We always start the day with a group meeting and a coffee! This helps to set the tone for the day and ensure that we are all focused on what needs to be achieved. 
We are not like a typical recruitment office, we don’t have individual ownership of clients, we all work together to ensure every client we are working with is met with the highest standards of service possible. 
 
I love my job and I love coming to work, as a typical Libra I am people pleaser and so I always go above and beyond what is expected to get a result and there is no better feeling than the feeling you get from making a difference to someone life, when they get taken on permanently through a temporary assignment or getting to give the news of a job offer after a series of interviews, it really is the best feeling! 
 
Outside of the office I will always be spending time with my husband and children, we have recently moved to a new house and have a long-term project to work on, renovating a bungalow. 
 
Long term plans are to grow the business, my team are equally ambitious, and I want to encourage their dreams of progression to more senior and management positions. 

Jenna-Leigh Bates AIRP Assistant Director  

Areas covered… 
 
I have been with the business since it began in 2018 and along with being a Recruitment Consultant, I am also a shareholder and the Company Secretary.  
My role is to work with the Directors at senior level and to manage the office when the other Directors are away from the business. I take my job very seriously and enjoy working closely with clients and candidates to ensure the correct match is found, for both temporary assignments and permanent roles. I am currenlty working on a Level 4 Marketing qualification and I am looking to progress onto a management course in the near future to help me in my senior position.  
I am fortunate to have such a great team who support me in my role, we all have our own strengths and we depend on each other use these when and where needed.  
Day to day I will be speaking to candidates, liaising with clients, arranging and attending site inductions and interviews. I like to have regular contact with my clients and our workers and this sometimes means just popping in for a cuppa and a chat.  
I also enjoy working with the junior team members to train and mentor them to be the best they can be in hope that they are able to progress with us as a business. I am perfectionist and like to ensure there is a process in place for each task we perform and so standard documents and SOPs are usually given to me to update etc. I also oversee our weekly payroll and produce regular management information reports for our clients so we can monitor our performance.  
 
 
Background and experience... 
 
Recruit 2 You is owned and run by my Aunty and Uncle and we have worked closley to build the business together from early 2018. I started my career working for small recruitment firm locally as an Administration Apprentice and this gave me a good insite to the industry and so I was very keen to build something from scratch with my Aunty when she appraoched me about this venture.  
I have gone onto complete my Level 3 Business Administration NVQ, and graduated in November 2019. From this, I was shortlisted to the final three apprentices to win the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for the Derbyshire Times Business Awards – and subsequently went on to WIN!! This was a huge boost to my career and my confidence.  
Prior to starting work in recruitment, I was studying at Sixth Form, I didn’t feel like University was for me and so when I got an offer of employment following a successful work experience week at my past employment and grabbed the opportunity. I am excited about my future within Recruit 2 you and to see how the business grows, I am very proud of how far we have come to date.  
 
Outside of the office... 
 
On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family – going for a Nando’s makes the weekend even better! I also love to visit new places in and around Derbyshire, going shopping is a bad habit of mine, especially when it’s for a special occasion …! 
 

Kim Jenner  Recruitment Consultant - Temporary Industrial Recruitment  

Areas covered… 
 
My role within Recruit 2 You is to work closely with the team to manage my client and candidate base within the temporary industrial sector, I really enjoy this area and hope to grow this division organically over the coming months and years. Anita is a very supportive manager and offers me flexibility in the way i work with my clients and candidates and this helps me to form great working relationships with them. My daily tasks usually find me onsite somewhere as i like to hold regular inductions to ensure my clients are getting the best people introduced to complete the work they have available. In the office i will be completing registration interviews, document checking and supporting the team with any other tasks that may need to completed that day. No two days are the same and so this enables me to have good variation in my work. If you are looking for temporary industrial staffing support - please give me a call!

 Courtney Bower Trainiee Recruitment Consultant 

Areas covered… 
 
The role of a Resourcing Administrator is to ensure the team is supported with all administrative tasks to allow them to perform to their best ability in their role. I will ensure all documents are printed/ filed and scanned efficiently and to comply with data protection ensure that this is performed in the strictest of confidence and in a timely manner. My role also includes updating various information platforms on our database to ensure they are current, this allows us to work with clients to fill thier requirements quickly and efficiently. 
As the newest member of the team and in my first role within an office environment I spend lots of time shadowing the team and taking notes on ways to complete the tasks before completeing the task with someone shadowing me to ensure the task is performed correctly.  
 
 
Background/experience… 
 
I have began my role as an Apprentice Resourcing Administrator with next to no experience however I am ambitious to learn. Prior to working here, I was studying A-levels but halfway through I decided that university was not for me, I carried on completing my course. Whilst doing this I had a role at a local soft play centre which involved both customer service and catering activities. I was searching for a job that had stability and would give me a routine and after speaking to a relative who also works in recruitment, she assisted me to find the job. After getting in touch I was invited to attend an interview in which I found that this was a job that I was definitely interested in and I am now working towards my Level 3 as a Business Administrator and hopefully progress in the future. 
 
Outside the office… 
 
I spend most of my time with family and friends and attending my local gym. 

Andrew Jackson Operations Director 

Areas covered… 
 
As Operations Director, I work closely with Anita and Jenna to work on the business strategy, preparing budgets, schedules and other organisational reports that asssit to promote company growth. 
 
I am also on hand to provides advice and guidance to other employees and offer assistance with any technical or specialist Engineering roles as this is my area of expertise.  
 
Background and experience... 
 
I have over 20 years’ experience within Engineering including Aerospace, Nuclear, Marine, Power Generation and more. I have the knowledge and experience to match the right candidates to the right position along with the understanding of technical and skilled roles. 
 
Outside of the office... 
 
I have obtained my private pilot’s licence and enjoying flying light aircraft in my spare time, along with attended classic car events and spending time with my wife and family.
