Hello! We are the Recruit 2 You Team...

Anita Jackson MREC Managing Director

We always start the day with a group meeting and a coffee! This helps to set the tone for the day and ensure that we are all focused on what needs to be achieved. We are not like a typical recruitment office, we do not have individual ownership of clients, we all work together to ensure every client we are working with is met with the highest standards of service possible.

I love my job and I love coming to work, as a typical Libra I am people pleaser and so I always go above and beyond what is expected to get a result and there is no better feeling than the feeling you get from making a difference to someone life, when they get taken on permanently through a temporary assignment or getting to give the news of a job offer after a series of interviews, it really is the best feeling!

Outside of the office I will always be spending time with my husband and children, we have recently moved to a new house and have a long-term project to work on, renovating a bungalow. Long term plans are to grow the business, my team are equally ambitious, and I want to encourage their dreams of progression to more senior and management positions.

Jenna-Leigh Bates AREC Business Manager

Background and experience...

I started my career working in recruitment as an Administrator on an apprenticeship. This gave me a good insight into the industry, and so I was very keen to build something from scratch with my Auntie when she approached me about this venture at Recruit 2 You. I have gone onto complete my Level 3 Business Administration NVQ and graduated in November 2019. From this, I was shortlisted to the final three apprentices to win the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for the Derbyshire Times Business Awards – and subsequently went on to WIN!! This was a huge boost to my career and my confidence.

Prior to starting work in recruitment, I was studying at Sixth Form, I did not feel like university was for me and so when I got an offer of employment following a successful work experience week at my past employment and grabbed the opportunity.

Outside of the office...

On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going out for food and drinks!

I have obtained my private pilot’s licence and enjoying flying light aircraft in my spare time, along with attended classic car events and spending time with my wife and family.

Courtney Bower Senior Recruitment Consultant

Background and experience...

I joined Recruit 2 You with no experience in recruitment, after studying A-levels I found that university was not for me, I started searching for something that would give me stability and after speaking to a close relative who works within recruitment, I wanted to consider it as a career option. I consider myself as being ‘hands on’ when working and I am committed to doing my job to the best of my ability to allow me to further progress within my recruitment career.

Outside of the office...

Outside of work I like to spend my time with my family and friends or walking my dog at Shipley Country Park. I am also a football fan and support Manchester United so often travel to watch them play home games! I also enjoy going to concerts as I am a big music fan, some of my favourite artists are Sam Fender, Liam Gallagher and Tom Grennan.

Katherine Tighe Recruitment Consultant

Outside the Office…

Outside of the office I try my best to stay productive. I spend my free time baking, and the gym. Of course, I also enjoy spending time with those who are important to me, whether this be binge watching a show on Netflix or relaxing after a long successful day in the office!

Tom Crabtree Sales and Marketing Consultant

Outside of the office…

Outside of the office, I love watching football, being a huge Manchester City fan. I also enjoy going out for food or drinks, and even shopping. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’m most likely playing FIFA or Football Manager!

I joined the business in November 2021 as a Recruitment Consultant, working within the Temporary Staffing Team. In this role I manage several clients across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire supporting them with their staffing needs as they go through busier periods and expand business; I work with Jenna and Courtney to achieve this. At Recruit 2 You no two days are the same as our priorities constantly change to meet our clients needs. My daily tasks range from promoting and advertising the roles we have available, searching our candidate database to try and find the perfect fit for our candidates and running pre-employment checks when they are successful. I also keep in regular contact with my clients to make sure I am keeping on top of their needs as well as reaching out to potential clients.

Background/Experience…

I started my recruitment journey in March 2021 doing in house recruitment within the health care sector, in this role I worked in two different teams (insourcing and general recruitment). I was recruiting for a variety of different roles from GP’s to Drivers, in my time there I felt I had gathered a lot of recruitment knowledge and wanted to take this knowledge and move into the agency side of recruitment rather than in house so I could expand my knowledge, be more hands on and kickstart my career in recruitment.

Outside of the office...

Outside of work I enjoy going carp fishing with my partner and photographing the different carp we catch, we plan on travelling around Europe beating our PB’s along the way.

Chloe Brailsford Trainee Permanent Recruitment Consultant

I joined the company in December 2021 as a Resourcing Administrator. My overall duty as a Resourcing Administrator is to provide administrative support to the business, whilst working closely with the teams Recruitment Consultants to achieve certain tasks.

Background/Experience…

I joined Recruit2You with no recruitment experience, I am looking to progress my career in the recruitment industry and by doing so I am studying Business Administration Level 3. I have experience in a mixture of industries which have all included customer facing, ranging from Dentistry to office administration. I left my last job due to wanting a career change and I thought recruitment was the right challenge for me.

Outside of the office...

When I’m out of the office I like to keep myself active doing home workouts or by walking in the peaks with my dog at the weekends. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family.
