Hello! We are the Recruit 2 You Team...

Anita Jackson MREC Managing Director

My recruitment career began with a national training provider within the Apprenticeship sector, I quickly progressed to become National Account Manager for market leaders in the estate agency sector. In 2016 I joined a small recruitment company in Derby and was instrumental in opening a successful sister branch for the organisation, following its success I was approached to open a further branch to continue the company growth. In 2018 decided the time was right to start my own venture and have taken my sector knowledge and experience to start up Recruit 2 You, based in Heanor, working with clients across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
I have always been entrepreneurial and had ambitions to work for myself, so this was always my dream.
Day to day I am very “hands on” I work closely with the team to source candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies across all sectors. We always start the day with a group meeting and a coffee! This helps to set the tone for the day and ensure that we are all focused on what needs to be achieved.
We are not like a typical recruitment office, we do not have individual ownership of clients, we all work together to ensure every client we are working with is met with the highest standards of service possible.
I love my job and I love coming to work, as a typical Libra I am people pleaser and so I always go above and beyond what is expected to get a result and there is no better feeling than the feeling you get from making a difference to someone life, when they get taken on permanently through a temporary assignment or getting to give the news of a job offer after a series of interviews, it really is the best feeling!
Outside of the office I will always be spending time with my husband and children, we have recently moved to a new house and have a long-term project to work on, renovating a bungalow.
Long term plans are to grow the business, my team are equally ambitious, and I want to encourage their dreams of progression to more senior and management positions.

Jenna-Leigh Bates AREC Temporary Industrial Manager

Areas covered…
I have been with the business since it began in 2018 and along with being a Recruitment Consultant, I am also a shareholder and the Company Secretary.
My role is to work with the Directors at senior level and to manage the office when the other Directors are away from the business. I take my job very seriously and enjoy working closely with clients and candidates to ensure the correct match is found, for both temporary assignments and permanent roles.
I am currently towards a Level 4 Marketing qualification and I am looking to progress onto a management course to help me in my senior position.
I am fortunate to have such a great team who support me in my role, we all have our own strengths and we depend on each other use these when and where needed.
Day to day I will be speaking to candidates, liaising with clients, arranging, and attending site inductions and interviews. I like to have regular contact with my clients and our workers, and this sometimes means just popping in for a cuppa and a chat.
I also enjoy working with the junior team members to train and mentor them to be the best they can be in hope that they are able to progress with us as a business. I am perfectionist and like to ensure there is a process in place for each task we perform, and so standard documents and SOPs are usually given to me to update etc. I also oversee our weekly payroll and produce regular management information reports for our clients so we can monitor our performance.
Background and experience...
Recruit 2 You is owned and run by my Aunty and Uncle and we have worked closely to build the business together from early 2018. I started my career working for small recruitment firm locally as an Administration Apprentice and this gave me a good insight to the industry and so I was very keen to build something from scratch with my Aunty when she approached me about this venture.
I have gone onto complete my Level 3 Business Administration NVQ and graduated in November 2019. From this, I was shortlisted to the final three apprentices to win the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for the Derbyshire Times Business Awards – and subsequently went on to WIN!! This was a huge boost to my career and my confidence.
Prior to starting work in recruitment, I was studying at Sixth Form, I didn’t feel like University was for me and so when I got an offer of employment following a successful work experience week at my past employment and grabbed the opportunity. I am excited about my future within Recruit 2 you and to see how the business grows, I am very proud of how far we have come to date.
Outside of the office...
On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family – going for a Nando’s makes the weekend even better! I also love to visit new places in and around Derbyshire, going shopping is a bad habit of mine, especially when it is for a special occasion …!

Georgina Templeton  Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Staffing)

Areas covered…
I am looking to work with clients and candidates looking for support with permanent vacancies across all sectors. I enjoy all aspects of the recruitment process; it gives me immense satisfaction to help others find their next opportunity and making a positive impact on their lives.
Background and experience...
My exposure with recruitment started in 2012 when I relocated to Sydney, Australia for two years. I worked for Michael Page as Business Support/PA to the Managing Director, Marketing, Digital & Retail team. I then decided to move back to the UK in 2014 where I transferred with the business to Weybridge. I found myself assisting with the odd position and I really enjoyed it but wanted to stay on the administrative road; after leaving Michael Page at the end of 2017 I went on to do Office Management where I unfortunately found myself redundant within 2 months due to a restructure. This is where I decided to get into recruitment on a more permanent basis. Since then I have recruited for a variety of companies in the Aeronautical, Healthcare & Trades & Labour on the Rail sectors. I am now extremely excited to be with Recruit 2 You and to be a part of a growing business, I cannot wait to see where we will be this time next year.
Outside of the office...
Outside of the office I am usually spending time with friends and family. I love spending time with my niece and nephew watching them grow up. I also enjoy trying new recipes and going off on adventures.

Brooke Dennis Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Staffing)

Areas covered…
I initially joined Recruit 2 You as a Resourcing Administrator, however having really enjoyed looking at the permanent vacancies and talking to candidates and clients about these roles, I have been offered an opportunity to pursue a career as a Recruitment Consultant (Trainee) working on permanent vacancies which I am really excited about.
As well as looking to engage with existing and potential clients to maximise business development for permanent roles across our network, I will be speaking with candidates and clients daily, arranging interviews, delivering feedback, and attending client visits.
I like to have a personable approach, so I always aim to meet all candidates prior to interview, either face to face or through video call; this is to ensure that I can be confident the candidates meet the requirements of the role and that the candidates will feel confident they have all the correct information before attending to their interview.
As part of my ongoing training, I am working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification to gain further knowledge and understanding of the business.
Before starting my Apprentice with Recruit 2 You, I was studying travel and tourism at Nottingham college. Within this college course, I learned a lot about the different businesses within the industry, and this made me realise that business was the avenue that I wanted to progress within. I also have retail experience, which made me realise that this was not the career for me. I then decided to become a hairdresser's assistant in Nottingham city centre, however I believe that I was able to push myself further within my career and I am now very excited to start my future with Recruit 2 You.
Outside of the office…
I enjoy my weekends by going shopping, going out for a meal and the cinema with my friends and family. I enjoy being able to spend quality time with my family and creating lifelong memories. I try and spend my time being a positive person and enjoying life to the maximum.

I joined Recruit 2 You with no experience in recruitment, after studying A-levels I found that university was not for me, I started searching for something that would give me stability and after speaking to a close relative who works within recruitment I wanted to consider it as a career option. I consider myself as being ‘hands on’ when working and I am commited to doing my job tot he best of my ability to allow me to furtehr progress within my recruitment career.

Nathan Green Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Staffing)

Areas covered…
I began in the medical recruitment sector working with NHS Hospitals, private care homes and treatment centres. I always took on a personal approach with candidates and clients to build long lasting relationships. I wanted to transition my skillset and experience to a different environment and sector. Upon joining Recruit 2 you I found the office to be very professional, down to earth and hold the same values.
I am placing individuals into permanent roles within the Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing sectors, amongst other. My main priority is to ensure individuals are placed into positions that not only suit their knowledge and experience, but the type of culture and work involved. I believe in following the process from start to finish to ensure good quality placements.
Background and experience…
I moved to London in 2014 to pursue new opportunities which led me to a sales position. After gaining experience with on-going training I decided to move into a career in recruitment. After learning the fundamentals of recruitment and working closely with the manager I began to gain great results which continued to grow throughout the years. I moved back to Nottingham to build a foundation in my home city and apply my experience to further my career in recruitment.
Outside of the office…
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, cycling, and walking. Generally visiting new places and getting out at the weekends. I also enjoy learning new practical skills and meeting new people with different stories.

Jess Skevington  Resourcing Administrator

The role of a Resourcing Administrator is to ensure the team is supported with all administrative tasks to allow them to perform to their best ability in their role. I will ensure all documents are printed/ filed and scanned efficiently and to comply with data protection ensure that this is performed in the strictest of confidence and in a timely manner. My role also includes updating various information platforms on our database to ensure they are current; this allows us to work with clients to fill their requirements quickly and efficiently.
As the newest member of the team and in my first role within an office environment I spend lots of time shadowing the team and taking notes on ways to complete the tasks before completing the task with someone shadowing me to ensure the task is performed correctly.
Background and experience...
Before starting my Apprenticeship at Recruit 2 You, I was a student at Hall Park Academy. During my time there I studied Business as a GCSE. The Business GCSE inspired me to want to be apart of a Business dynamic. This then led me to search for an Apprenticeship in Business Administration, as I felt most of my skills are best suited for the role. From leaving school in March, due to COVID-19, I have completed courses to expand my knowledge & understanding of various subjects. I completed a Managing Mental Health Course, which focused more on workplace stress & the impact of the environment. I then completed The Microsoft Office Diploma Course, which covered all areas of Microsoft.
My work experience placement was at Sure Start Children’s Centre. My work experience was over a 5-day period and within this time I maintained a mutual and respectful relationship with the staff members. During this time, I developed my own skills, this was by; confidently organising activities, improving my communication skills, using my initiative more and helping others feel more self-aware and comfortable. My relationship building skills would contribute well with building and maintaining good working relationships with the staff members and members of the Children’s Centre. Throughout my placement, I felt as if I embraced the freedom and responsibilities of a working life, I enjoyed interacting with other members of staff and participating in organising numerous activities
Outside of the office...
I am a member of my local cricket team, Eastwood Town Cricket Club. I have been scoring for 4 years, however as a child I grew up down there. I have grown a passion for Cricket, which encouraged me to play for our Women’s Softball Cricket team that started in July 2019. I spend most of my weekends down there socialising with my cricket family & making endless memories. My Mum also plays Cricket too, which enhanced our relationship & made us value the little things in life. I love to spend time with my Family, Godparents & friends.
