New Opportunity – Plumbing and Heating Manager
Our client in Cheadle is looking for a Plumbing and Heating Manager. In this role you will be key in contributing to sales growth through meeting targets and providing support to a range of customers.
To excel in this role, individuals should have a strong working knowledge of the Plumbing and Heating sector and want to apply this knowledge to a role within a building merchant.
As the new Plumbing and Heating Manager, you will:
Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of Plumbing & Heating Products, communication skills and self-discipline.
Maintain company core stock.
Manage slow moving and obsolete stock lines.
Contribute to the overall sales of the business.
Follow up on all quotations.
Maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Negotiate enquires on behalf of the company.
Complete reports as needed in a timely manner.
Present products to a range of stakeholders.
Undertake training to ensure compliance to the company health and safety policies.
Requirements for this role:
Must have a strong knowledge of the Plumbing and Heating industry.
Must be local to the area.
Must have an understanding of the current market in this sector.
Follow company policies.
Must be Numerate and computer literate.
Ideally, will have a t least 3 years’ experience working within a plumber’s merchant.

Be able to build relationships with a variety of customers.
About this role:
You will be based at on branch. However, you may be required to travel to other locations for training and meetings.
Salary for this position is between £29,000 and £32,000 (depending on experience)
22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Quarterly sales bonus for meeting targets.
