Our client has been manufacturing and supplying industry-specific equipment since the 1950’s. Due to continued growth they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their team. 
 
As the new service engineer, you will ideally be based in or around the Milton Keynes area, you should be prepared to work alone and away from home several nights a week and may be required to cover other areas as per the business’ requirements. 
 
A leased transit type vehicle will be provided for the engineer, as well as company workwear, mobile phones and many more benefits. 
 
Primarily reporting to the Service Manager, the right candidate will join a team of 4 field engineers strategically located throughout the country. 
 
Field Service Engineer Required Skills: the right candidate will be physically fit, active and have the following desired skills and experience: 
 
NVQ or C & G electrical qualification (ideally Level 3 / 18th Edition) 
Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the maintenance field preferable 
Excellent face to face customer service skills 
Valid Driving Licence 
Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK (Company NOT participating in current VISA schemes) 
Availability to work away from home several nights per week (cost of accommodation covered by the company) 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Highly proficient in spoken and written English 
Sound mechanical knowledge to service electrical and mechanical equipment 
Confident in the use of mobile apps (product specific training provided)
