Position Overview:
As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will work on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and afternoons, in our high production output factory.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely perform tool changes on a variety of moulding machines.
Condition set Injection moulding machines from scratch.
Set 3-axis Sepro and Viper robots.
Perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure machines run efficiently.
Analyse cycle times and product weight to meet production targets.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment, promoting safety.
As the new Injection Moulding Setter, you will have:
Experience working with Billion, Engel, Arburg, and Sandretto injection moulding machines.
Familiarity with Sepro 3-axis robots.
Physical fitness for tool changes on large machinery.
Experience with a range of machinery sizes, from 60t-1500t.
Willingness to work overtime during busy periods as required by the business.
About the Role:
Competitive hourly rates, with regular overtime opportunities paid at overtime rates.
Rotating days, nights, and afternoons on a 3-shift pattern.
Full-time position.
Additional shift attendance bonuses:
Afternoon shift: + £0.25 per hour
Night shift: + £0.50 per hour
(Applicable if 40 hours are completed during the week)
23 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
