Are you an experienced maintenance engineer with an electrical bias? 
 
We are currently looking to place the right candidate in our client’s maintenance team. They are looking for an individual to help maintain the efficiency of their machines and equipment. You will assist with improvements and dealing with any mechanical issues or breakdowns. 
You will also be working on small projects as the team look to improve and make modifications to existing systems. 
 
As the new Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will: 
 
Help the Maintenance team to reduce the number of breakdowns by following site maintenance strategies, methods, and procedures. 
Help to identify issues and fix breakdowns in a timely manner. 
Make sure all equipment is maintained to the company standard. 
Help the team to buy mechanical items as needed. 
Make sure Health and safety is being adhered to, reporting any issues to the correct members of staff. 
Be part of a call out rota, agreed upon by various departments. 
Assist to supervise on site contractors to ensure they are following our Client’s Health and Safety policies. 
 
The ideal Candidate will: 
 
Have Electrical and Mechanical experience. 
Have a knowledge of 3-phase motors, including: chains, belts, drives, gearboxes, power distribution and control circuitry. 
Ideally have Food production experience.

About the role: 
 
Up to £45,000 annually 
 
Shift details: Working 5 days out of 6 on a rotating shift pattern of Monday-Saturday on the AM shift and Monday-Friday on the PM shift.
