Shift: 4pm - 1am 
 
Our client is a leading producer of high-quality food products, committed to delivering excellence in taste and safety. On their behalf, we are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of our products. 
 
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following: 
 
Ensuring that products are packed correctly for the designated customer, meeting packaging, labelling, and weight requirements. 
Orchestrating staff and room set-up, including job allocation. 
Achieving daily production targets as set by the management team. 
Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and health & safety practices at all times. 
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. 
Maintaining stock control to ensure product availability. 
Adhering to the company's hygiene and safety rules. 
Informing the Factory/Production Manager of any equipment defects. 
Ensuring all documentation and returns procedures are followed. 
Ensuring total compliance with statutory requirements, including Health and Safety, COSSH, and hygiene regulations. 
Performing diligent cleaning procedures to maintain excellent hygiene standards. 
Verifying the accuracy of weighing scales before packing begins. 
Ensuring all packs are metal detected correctly and correctly labeled. 
Performing any other reasonable duties allocated by the Factory/Production Manager or other senior company employees. 
Demonstrating effective people management skills. 
Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others while at work and comply with the Company's policies and legislation. 
Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate learning and development activities. 
 
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, knowledge, and experience: 
 
Good attention to detail. 
A calm and focused individual. 
Self-motivated and able to motivate others. 
Good communication skills, both written and oral. 
Proficiency in IT and systems. 
Disciplined with procedures and a structured approach. 
Ideally trained to Level 3 Food Hygiene plus Health and Safety at Work. 
Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet the demands of the business.
