We are looking for a small works project manager to oversee the small works remedial works to work alongside the existing team. 
 
The potential candidate will need to be electrically minded with an understanding of electrical installation, & have a Fire systems background. The role will be office based with the occasional requirement for site visits out in the field. 
 
The position will be permanent based in Derby.

As a Project and Small Works Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the compliant delivery of projects and small works, contributing to our commitment to standards & excellence. 
Role Overview 
As the Project and Small Works Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, maintaining compliance with contract deliverables reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to regulations, processes, and 
requirements, guaranteeing projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Manage all stages of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery excellence. 
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to processes. 
Effectively manage project budgets within cost control measures. 
Schedule installations and allocate resources to ensure safe and customer-aligned project delivery. 
Oversee all health and safety aspects, including CDM requirements and necessary documentation. 
Ensure projects are completed in line with project plans, meeting customer requirements and company standards. 
Coordinate and manage defect works to client satisfaction and contract requirements. 
Drive continual improvement in quality processes and uphold a professional company image. 
Provide guidance to the engineering team in the field & to uphold good relations with other teams within the organisation. 
Manage site drawings and O&M manuals, keeping them up to date. 
Procure products and materials in line with client specifications. 
Attend pre-start, progress, and handover meetings, producing relevant minutes, reports, and actions. 
Act as a single point of contact for the project, internally and externally. 
 
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience. 
 
Company Car: Will be provided.
